hank you for joining us today. I hope you are com-
fortable and enjoying CemAir’s hospitality. I invite you
to relax with this issue of SkyNews as our dedicated
team gets you safely and on time to your chosen
                destination.

Spring is with us, and when looking down from an aircraft
cabin, the characteristic fresh green of new life is bursting
through winter’s browns. The Western Cape has been
blessed with the kiss of rain, filling dams and offering a
                welcome relief to the drought.
I am incredibly excited to share that we have welcomed
another 78-seat Bombardier Dash-8 Q400 into our fleet.
The aircraft arrived from Canada at the beginning of Sep-
tember and is undergoing the standard importation and
certification processes to operate on CemAir’s licence.
The Q400 turboprop is a flagship aircraft of its manufac-
turer Bombardier, offering unmatched performance and MESSAGE
outstanding economics for more challenging airports that
                require distinct operational dynamics. FROM

We are pleased to announce that after a temporary
pause, we will relaunch the route between Bloemfontein MILES
and Port Elizabeth in October 2018. The schedule will
begin with three flights per week with potential increases
to fit market demand. While the route was dormant, we
received countless requests to restore these flights, and
we are proud once again to be able to service these
                communities.

In this edition of Skynews, we showcase our ground
operations teams in Bloemfontein and Richards Bay.
It is the friendliness and efficient service offered by our
customer-facing staff that is the magic CemAir ingredient.
I extend my gratitude and appreciation to them and all
ground staff at our airport bases at OR Tambo, Margate,
Plettenberg Bay, Hoedspruit, Cape Town, George and
Kimberley. Thank you for keeping the red and blue flag
                flying high.

Our support network for other regional airlines across
the continent continues to grow, and we are proud to be
working with Air Burkina, LAM (Linhas Aereas de Mocam-
bique) and Air Zimbabwe on both our Bombardier Dash 8
and CRJ fleets to assist their operations.
